Festival MIT

I was commissioned by KUD Pozitiv to create a visual identity for the MIT festival - The festival of innovative youth theatre.
I decided to play with the word "mit" as "a myth" and create something that has roots in the classical world but it is very contemporary and fun. For the logo, I played with the idea of a crown as a story-based object that connects and interprets the idea of the festival and I used red, and black as the main colors because they connect with the visual identity of a host Kud Pozitiv and added blue for the distinction of the festival as its own brand.
I used the picture of the roman marble statue of a seated Muse from the MET and added the elements that would represent different theater categories and create a fun design out of ut
